Christmas Extravaganza 10/19/18; Monochromatic Very Vanilla, Copper Noel, Snow Couple

Hello Stampers!

A great week!! 3 regular classes and a Christmas Extravaganza yesterday at the Art Gallery of Viera at Decorativa!

I thought I would have time to take more pictures during our class BUT, I ended up volunteering to Big Shot cut the snowflakes (Everyone needed 8) and they needed a little dryer sheet magic on the thinlits and paper, as well as a little rolling brush action as they came out!  There was good teamwork all around and we finished in the 3 hour time frame.

Ladies, thank you for the goodies, the extra Big Shot, and the terrific help setting up and packing up afterward.  Many thanks to Jill, Jacquie, Claudia, Kathy, Trish, Donna, Jaime, Mike, Gloria, Nancy and Corinne!  I enjoyed your company and I so appreciate your help to one another!

Here are the cards we made (2 of each, with inside stamping and envelopes too.)  And here is Table 2 right before I got too busy to even think of playing photogropher!  :-)

Stampin' Thanks and Hugs to All!

Here is our Very Vanilla Monochromatic card.  Lots of framelits and lots of embossing!! Challenging but worth it!!

I love Copper!  This really is a favorite of mine.  A bit of embossing and a a few thinlits and some GOJUS Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper!  This was my first design with Merry Merlot!  Love it!!
So sweet.  We had some relaxing time coloring our "Snow Couple". I love the bow stamp and punch from the Candy Cane Season Bundle.
I so apologize for not having picture of the other tables.  I just was too engaged with that Big Shot!  All for a good cause!
Great stampers having fun!!

Happy Stampin', Everyone!!

Poinsettias, Country Road and Mr. Froggie

Hi, Everyone!

Thank you for dropping by!  Here are 2 of the cards that we'll be making in class for the Monday class and later on for SOS Club, Titusville and Cocoa Beach!  I hope you enjoy them!

Actually, this is one of the cards we made last week in our classes!  You can never go wrong with beautiful pine trees!!

Don't you love it when you find the right masculine birthday card?  I love the simplicity and ease of this card.  My main ideas came right out of the Annual Catalog (Country Road).

Just a touch 'o gold and a little Stella for this pretty poinsettia card.  I just stamped off for the second flower image.  I used my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend marker to color my pearls.

Well, just in case you've tired of my endless butterfly hatchling pictures (19 Blue Swallowtails and counting!!), here is Mr. Froggie in our little bird house that Miss Kimmie gave us a few years ago. You might send me the words tree frog for a little stampin' candy. I think he is napping in this picture but we were happy to see him back!!

Have a happy weekend!

A Beachy Christmas with the Fabulous Flamingo and a CASE'd Santa Card! Thank you, Josee Schmuck!

Hi, Everyone,

It's been a wonderful week!  The Art Gallery of Viera is now officially in its new digs and our classroom is beautiful and bright with lots of wonderful light!  I am so grateful to get to teach there and to be associated with all of the wonderful artists at the Gallery!!  As I've said before, I'm a lucky girl!!!

We had our 2 Art Gallery classes on Monday and my SOS Stamp Club last evening.  So, so, so much fun.  I just love looking at everyone's creations and seeing their own make and takes!

I hope you'll find some inspiration on today's page!  Be sure to email me at if I can of creative help to you or you'd like to just say "hello"!

Every Floridian loves a great flamingo!  You can rent a hundred plastic yard flamingos to wish someone happy birthday!  Only in Florida.  LOL!

I just simply love this paper (Petal Promenade) and the many coordinating cardstocks and inks that you can use!!

Yes, Ree actually completed her Paper Pumpkin.  I love the Granny Apple Green Vellum leaves and the baker's twine.  And of course I love the floral design.  Better see if you can still get this kit or the refills before they're gone.  (10 cards and envelopes and everything you need in the kit!!)

I love the little Seasonal Chums reindeer.  Don't forget the giant snowflake embossing folder and the pretty tree from Ready for Christmas!!

Oh, what fun is right!!  I case'd this cute card from Jolee Schmuck, a really creative demo from Canada! I love the simplicity for this quick card.  The message is heat embossed with Silver (The magic word. Send it to Ree).
Have a great rest of the week and I'll post some pictures of our new classroom next week!!!

Moon and Stars, Highland Heather and Lace

 Hello, Stamping Friends!

Thank you for stopping by!!  The Moon and Stars baby card was one of our projects for this week's 4 classes.  I love the punch and you can use the "confetti bits" on the inside of the card!  Totally cute.  Most students had the "starry night" Twinkle paper for their background but since I had only 2 packages of the Designer Series Paper, I also used the lovely Night of Navy sheets that you see below.  Kind of reminds me of shooting stars.  My students were so sweet and flexible regarding paper selections.  They always are because regardless, they will make a really pretty card!!

My friend, Oksana, at  sent me this lovely card that features our new colors, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.  I L.O.V.E. the colors and I love Oksana's designs!!!

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?  Art Gallery Stampers started in July.  I'll share a few of our designs on my next post!
Have lots of creative fun!

Vellum Stained Glass and Beautiful Laces--Card Making Fun

Hello, Stampin' Friends!

I hope you are finding some time to relax and to be creative!

I am so enjoying the products from the 2018-19 Idea Book!  I love the colors so much that I am not shedding tears for Always Artichoke and Pirouette Pink!  How fickle I am!  :-)

Ugh!  I am going to have to start using my "real" camera again.  My phone just does not pick up the background light well.  Any tips, photographers?

Here are some of our "stained glass" cards so far! We'll be making them in 2 or 3 more classes before we're through!  Aren't they pretty.  I was so proud of my stampers.  Those patterns can be somewhat daunting but give them some Stamp 'n Blends and they make their own little masterpieces. (Click on the photo to get the entire image!)

So sorry for the strange background light but I hope you'll get some inspiration from our Art Gallery Stampers!!

I L.O.V.E. the laser cut beeyooteeful paper!  I was able to make 20 cuts from one of the 8-  12x12 pieces.  What a beautiful bargain.  I am so happy to have Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather for our color choices.  I went to a retired Framelit (So Detailed) for a different take on the card.

See you again soon!!!

Hilton Head Stamping! Card Making Animal Outing & Lilypad Lake

Hello, my stamping friends!

We've just returned from Hilton Head, where I always get a huge shot of inspiration from my sister-in-law, Cindy and our wonderful friend, Linda!  Linda is in my level one team and Cindy is in Linda's level one team.  So.....creativity abounds!  Here is what I walked in to upon our arrival!  It took my breath away.  The colors!  The layouts!  These gals are just amazing.  Needless to say, you'll be seeing many of THEIR ideas in Ree's cards in the future!!

Somebody was certainly a busy bee prior to my arrival.  The cards on this side are Linda's and on the opposite side are Cindy's!  Enjoy!

Here are the cards we'll make in this week's classes.  We also made them in Hilton Head.  Lilypad Lake is such a versatile and perfectly coastal set.  I know everyone will enjoy these projects.  For these, I'm casing 2 of the cards created by Oksana Semenska at her catalog reveal yummy barbecue and stamp class.  I just loved them and couldn't wait to make more.  You can never have too many egret cards.  Thank you, Oksana!!  You can see more of Oksana's beautiful work at

And here is (finally) one of my originals using Animal Outing.  I just love these Aussie cuties.  Can't wait to send it to our Aussi friends, Colin and Judy!  You can't tell from the pic, but Momma's pouch and baby koala are poochy. I achieved that using a stylus on the wrong side of the paper.  Be sure to use a thick piece of foam underneath to get maximum results.

Have a lovely, crafty week, everyone!!

Seeing the Sights of Florida, Masculine "Shirt" Card and Floral Cards!

Hi, Stampers!

We went from my return from Centre Stage to preparation for our much anticipated visit from our Aussie friends!  We had a great time playing tourist and my friend Judy and even I went to my stamp class in Titusville.

Besides that, we visited the Magic Kingdom, the Space Center (I haven't been there for about 30 years and it is nothing short of moving and magnificent!!!), the Ft. Lauderdale Airshow, and a wonderful local production of Spamalot!  We even played putt putt golf in Cocoa Beach, where I somehow managed a hole-in-one, and had ice cream afterward.  We visited with family and friends and enjoyed a lovely shrimp boil at son Tom's lovely home.

There were great restaurants with great views (and some not so much!) and I will go on record to say the finest meal I have enjoyed in quite awhile was hosted by our friends at the Trend French and so magnifique!!!

Here are cards that Judy and I made with my Titusville Library friends.  We then went to lunch with the "girls" and then Judy and I walked around Cocoa Village for awhile.
We also made these cute, easy peasy shirt cards. (Thank you, Oksana, for the quick collar making technique!!)
We made this fun fold card in Cocoa Beach yesterday.  Again, thank you, Oksana, for this great fun fold technique!!
Here are some pretty florals we've created in the last few weeks.  The hydrangea card is back (waaaay back) by popular demand.  I LOVE it though I had to use retired punches for it.

Have a wonderful and creative week!  I'm off to my music conference in Daytona Beach this evening and I'll be preparing for next week's Stamp Club and a trip back to the Titusville Library!
Happy Stamping!

Sight-seeing in Atlanta, Centre Stage and On Stage!

Hi, Stampers!

I attended Centre Stage and On Stage in Atlanta last week and had such a fun and informative time.  I am so excited about all the new products and colors!  I can't wait to share them with everyone!!!

My sweet sister-in-law, Mary, picked me up at the airport.  I wish I had a video to share of my dashing through 3 lanes of traffic and struggling with my huge suitcase, but we did it!!  We then parked her car and walked to a wonderful restaurant, Atlanta Breakfast Company, where we had theeeeee best food ever!!!  Mmmmmm, I'm still rememberering a wonderful peach cobbler French toast and a fried green tomato BLT on a biscuit.  Even without the "B" for me, it was unbelievably delish!  I highly recommend!!!
Yes, she's trying to lean out of our picture but we are happy to have her join us!
We then walked on to our destination, the Museum of Civil Rights and Human Rights for a wonderful afternoon of meandering this beautiful museum and being touched by sooooo many of the displays, films, audio presentations etc.  Again, I highly recommend!!

Being that we were all coloring daffodils with on Stampin' Blends before Easter, I had to TRY to get a picture of one of the last remaining daffodils of Spring, I'm afraid.  I really couldn't see what I was doing but managed to get a semblance of the colors.  A week or so ago I'm sure the rows and rows of these everywhere were just amazing!!!  I so enjoyed the wisteria, dogwood, and apple tree blossoms!  I miss those in Florida!  Thank you, Mary!!!

Centre Stage had an 80's theme!  Oksana, my friend and creative coach looked 80's pretty and I went 80's casual.  I actually have on legwarmers.  It was a fun dinner and included leadership training.  We also received our bags and catalogs early, along with a stamp set and lots of other goodies.  (You can see those below!)

Here is the evening's all-important dessert table!  Chocolate and raspberries!  Mmmmm!

Here is Oksana with some of her Downline Team!  Next year we will meet in Orlando so I'm hoping LOTS of my Team will attend!!
Stephanie, Oksana, Sheri and Lori

Oksana and yours truly!  We had a fabulous time!

Ahhhhh, yes!  The mid-afternoon chocolate cupcake celebrating Stampin' Up's 30th year!!

Here is some of our "swag"!  We came home with stamps, stamp pads, new In-Color markers, a wonderful journal, supplies and of course, my own cowbell, seen in the cupcake picture.  LOL

Now then......La piece de resistance!!!
Oksana presented me with theeeeee most fabulous gifts in Atlanta.  Here they are!  I love the catalog holder that she decorated.  It is perfect!  And the the French wine and yummy cookies and THENNN a hand decorated box full of surviving Centre Stage supplies--chocolate, a wonderful purple Signo gel pen, tags, mints,  and so much more.  Her tags were even very special and beautiful.  She is amazing and I am inspired!! Thank you, my friend!!

Happy Stamping, Everyone!!

Banners are Back, Convention Swaps, Card Making Fun!

Hi, Stampers!

Yayyyyy!  My banners came back, my blog was restored and all is well with Visa and Paypal.  (Darn hackers!!)  That's life these days, isn't it!

I'll be off to Atlanta on Thursday for Onstage fun!  A great opotunity to learn new techniques and to peek at new product awaits!!  Here are my swaps!  I only made around 45.  The lollipops make them bulky to pack but I love making those little pockets and swappers enjoy receiving them.

Of course I have to bring out my retired chocolate bunny stamp.  He is so cute and so versatile.  I also used a very vintage little flower stamp that I keep in my kit.

Here is our "pretty" Easter card.  It gave us a chance to use our Stampin' Blends.  I look forward to their return at the end of May!
I used crafty SIL's fold idea again.  I love it!  Thank you Cindy Davis!!

I'm also loving the Sale-a-Bration floral foil papers.  They are so elegant on their own and so beautiful when you take your Stampin' Blends to them.  This card is inspired by my friend, Oksana Semenska's, design.  So fun! See more of Oksana's beautiful creations at

Here is another of our class projects.  I just love this little mermaid but I would feel badly if I trapped her in the bottle, so I gave her a heart background instead.  We "hand carved" our waves with our bone folders since yours truly forgot the embossing folder we were to use.  Thank you, Ranell Schlatter, for the great idea!!
I always told my junior high choir students that I got my best ideas from them and the same is true with my stampers!!

Coming up this week we'll be brave and make a Brusho card.  We'll also make a pretty friend or Mother's Day card using the stamp set "A Mother's Flair".

Have a great weekend!!
