Homemade Alcohol Ink Designs and Christmas Quilt Bundle Card

Hi, Stampers!

We had such fun in this week's classes making our own alcohol ink designs.  Hats off to both Art Gallery of Viera classes, my SOS stamp club and the Titusville Public Library stampers!  You were up to the challenge and we had a wonderful time together.  Just what we needed after Irma!!!!

You just need isopropyl alcohol and reinkiers in your choice of 2 or 3 colors, large cotton balls and glossy white cardstock.  We used Pacific Point, Emerald Envy and Silver.  I would suggest plastic gloves too.

Just put alcohol on a large cotton ball, add 1 drop of each color and then just pounce, swoosh or swirl onto glossy white paper.  So quick, easy and fun and everyone's design is different!!  We used the leaf punch on the inside of the card and cut out little squares of our practice paper and those look great too!  We used a Christmas Quilt Bundle framelit for our window.  Perfect!!

Here is this week's Christmas card.  You might recognize the front from the Holiday Occasions catalog!  We used the Christmas Quilt embossing folder on the Real Red card front.  Love those felt embellishments!!!

Join my team and you'll receive this special gift made by me for you and an extra $40 gift certificate from me. So that's a total of $165 in merchandise for $99.  Just go to  and click on "Join the Fun!"
Let the fun begin!!!

Have a fun and happy stampin' week!!

Art Gallery Cards-Three Wisemen, Dragonfly and a fun Halloween Treat/Gift Card Holder

Hi, Stampers!

We're boarding up, packing up and getting ready to evacuate the island in anticipation of Irma.  I thought I'd make a quick post and let you know what has been going on in the Art Gallery Cards world this week.

We made this simple, but elegant 3 Wisemen card using Wisemen from afar, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstocks and gold embossing powder.  We Floridians especially love the beautiful palm tree stamps.  This is actually a very quick and simple card.

Next we made this oh so pretty card using stamping off and sponging to give it a misty quality.  I'll bet you recognize the Awesomely Artistic and the Butterfly Basics stamp sets, along with Bermuda Bay and Marina Mist stamp pads.  A tip of the hat to Dawn Olchefske who never disappoints when I'm looking for inspiration!  Check out her Stampin' Up blog!

Here is another project. It was inspired by Oksana Semenska's cute little expresso cup and holder that you saw in last week's blog post.  The Spooky Night Designer Series Papers are so fun!  You can punch out the cats and fussy cut the pumpkins and witches' hats. Planning to make some of these with granddaughter, Riley, while we're waiting out the storm at Kevin and Darla's house. Secret work is Yellow Lab Yes, we'll take our 2 Shelties and they have a Yellow Lab, Terrier/Lab mix and 2 yorkies.  Should be lively!!
One thing that I'll be packing up is the latest Paper Pumpkin!  Easy Peasy and I won't suffer from stamping withdrawal!  LOL!!!

Wishing everyone in Houston and neighboring areas a quick recovery and wishing the residents of Florida the best possible outcome.

Stampin' Hugs and Smiles!

Hello, Stampers!

I want to share this week's projects AND the bee-yoo-tee-ful projects we made with Oksana Semenska of
a couple of weekends ago.
In addition to our terrific projects AND a beautiful favor that Oksana made for all of us, I received this beautiful thank you card that Oksana used real coffee to paint .  Brilliant!!!  I love Oksana's creations and encourage you to enjoy her blog as well!

Here are the cards we made at Oksana's workshop. I just love the colors and beautiful little touches!

Here is the beautiful favor that Oksana made for all of us, complete with delicious chocolates, of course.  I must CASE this for sure!!

Here is her sweet thank you note that painted using actual coffee.  Yes, she is definitely brilliant and creative!!

Here are our class cards for this week.  The Art Gallery Stampers, Titusville Stampers and the SOS Stamp club all did a great job with these cards.  Such fun I've had!!

Love our Halloween kitties!  We had fun with the leftover tails and cat faces peeking in on the inside of the card.  And here is the secret code word "kitties". The first to email it to me will receive a vintage stamp set. I imagine you're all on to me now. :-) Ugh!! I should have added some additional lighting for this photography session!!
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the new catalog.  Please feel free to email me if you have no demonstrator and I will be happy to send you a Holiday Catalog free of charge!!

Happy stamping, everyone!
