Hello, Stampers!

I hope you are loving (in Florida!) this lovely, sunny weather.  It does not get better than this!  Even got a few rays while cleaning up the back patio.

Here are two of my creations for next week's classes (It's a 4-class week!).  Love it!

Oops!  Looks like my sentiment slipped.  I wanted to make this card a little more versatile, so instead of sticking it down, I left the backing on my dimensionals.  "Happy Birthday" is an alternate sentiment.  :-) Yes, I'm making extra good use of my classes with Oksana Semenska!  I CASE'd the umbrella girl card that we made at her class a week or so ago.  See her GOJUS work at

I just love those little envelope framelits!  They are going to be around here for a very long time.  Also, I'm soooo happy that Stampin' Up has returned the stitched framelits to us!  Yayyyyy!

I am a real doof.  Many nice messages have gone right by me.  Today, I stumbled upon a page where I can see every message that has been sent to me.  Please send me a message and I WILL get back to you!!!

Happy Stamping!!!!

Hello Stampers!

I hope this finds you well and enjoying creative time!  I had the pleasure of attending Oksana Semenska's cardmaking class last Saturday.  We had such a good time making cards using the So Beautiful stamp set, the new Occasions hostess set, Thankful Life, and the Dragonfly Dreams bundle.  So pretty!

Below you'll see my "copycat" beautiful lady cards (3 of 6) that I've made at home and the dragonfly card that we made with Oksana.  It is so pretty and who doesn't love dragonflies??I

I used the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack for most of the So Beautiful cards but if you look closely at the dress on the gray/black card, you'll see the Inside the Lines Sale-a-bration free paper.  I love black and white dresses!!

Here's Oksana's beautiful dragonfly card.  (You can see more of Oksana's gorgeous cards at  It easily can be turned into a sympathy, birthday, thank you or even a valentine card!  Do you notice the new Occasions Falling in Love Designer Paper?
Have a wonderful week and don't forget to take advantage of the beautiful free items in the Sale-A-Bration catalog!  You can see everything in my store HERE!

Happy Stamping!!

Hi, Stampers!!

I've returned from Tampa, where I attended the Florida Music Educators' Association Conference and Convention.  It was a wonderful time (as always!) going to sessions, board meetings and meeting up with good friends.  This is my 38th annual state convention in a row!  I can hardly believe it myself.  I spent the better part of Friday observing and enjoying the rehearsals of the Middle School Treble and Mixed Choruses.  They were THE best ever.  Wonderful students and fab, fab, fabulous director/clinicians, Mary LaCasse Biddlecombe and Tesfa Wondegmagegnehu (Yes, I can pronounce it!).  These are such charismatic and inspirational teachers.  I know that many singers' lives were changed after 3 days with Mary and Tesfa.  I was moved to tears more than once!!

Couldn't resist these facebook images.  Mary definitely had her director face on in rehearsal but I love this pic with her wonderfully multi-talented choral director husband(Vanderbilt University), Tucker.

Okay then, (sigh) time to put on my greeting card teacher hat!  I love this week's projects. (But don't I always??) :-)  I'm thinking of adding a cute little banner on the "Tasty Truck".  Woke up at convention on Friday thinking that!  A little "somethin'" is also needed for our sandpiper card.

We'll meet at the Art Gallery of Viera at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm and at the Titusville Public Library at 10:30 am on Wednesday.  If you'll be in the area, email me at and I'll save a kit and a place for you!!

Happy Stampin'!!

2017 Calendar Card, Oh Those Sweet Succulents!! Time for Valentines!!

Hi, Stampers,

I LOVE making Christmas cards but it's always, literally, a "breath of fresh, spring air", when we start making cards using pastels and red and white valentines.  So we're off and running!

Here are last week's projects at The Art Gallery of Viera and the Cocoa Beach Library classes.  Don't you love the colors for the succulent products???  I just can't get enough Sweet Sugarplum!!

When I attended CentreStage and OnStage last fall, I met Angie Hayes Railsford through Frances Wagner.  We exchanged wonderful gifts and one of Angie's projects was a desk-top calendar.  My calendar design is below.  You can find the little calendars at  You can see more of Angie's and Frances' work on Facebook. This week's project were these fabulous (because of the beautiful new Stampin' Up products!!!) cards.  I love the detail of the lacy So Detailed Thinlits Dies. (Quick note:  If you're having trouble getting the die to cut all the way through, I suggest:

  • Use your flattest cutting plates!
  • Rub the cutting side of your dies with a new dryer sheet. Works like buttah!! :-)

The Sealed With Love Bundle is just amazing.  We used it for both projects!  Add the Sending Love Designer Paper Stack and you are in business!!!

Thank you for visiting and email any questions to me at

Happy Stamping!!
