Hello, My Stampin' Divas and Chicas!
I hope you are all
having a fabulous week!
Above you'll see some
of the projects that we enjoyed making in our classes this week! It was
so much fun to make the shaker card and the witch card!
Equally fun was the
Vintage Leaves card that is CASE'd from Oksana Semenska, my wonderfully
creative workshop teacher in Port Orange. She is amazing!! This is
not exactly like any of her cards but it is definitely inspired by the cards we
made with her a few weeks ago!!
I have to say that
this has been a wonderful week due to some balance! Here's what I need to
have a balanced week (crazy nut that I am!)
·
I taught 3 fabulous
stamping classes.
·
I cleaned a closet and
straightened my stamp room.
·
I worked like a devil
in the yard today! I trimmed hedges, shaped 6 hibiscus trees with the
electric hedge trimmer and cleaned up the beds in the front and by the back
fence. Watered my outdoor plants and washed down the patio.
·
Took 2 Zumba classes
(1 and 1/2 more tomorrow!)
What I STILLLL need to
do to help me achieve and sustain balance for at least a short time:
·
Write and send this
great newsletter and take some pictures for it!
·
Design 2-4 cards for
my classes next week (4!)
Feel free to share
what you do to achieve balance or close to it!!
By the way!
Connie Allen, a watercolor teacher that I know from the Titusville Art
League, is going to teach us how to draw these beautiful portraits of women of
color at my Titusville Public Library class next Wednesday. We meet at
10:30 am. Connie will teach the first hour and we'll make a pretty
Christmas card during the second hour. I have a couple of extra seats
available if you would like to join us "up north". Let me know
by Monday. ( I'm soooo excited because I've never been taught how to draw ANYTHING
in my whole life!) I am so grateful to Connie for her kind offer!!
If my project looks
anything like this, I will be over the moon!!
