Our Feature Gallery presents
A feast for your eyes! The Art Gallery of Viera announces their Edibles show, an art exhibit featuring work with one common theme – food. The opening reception will be on June 13 and run till July 5th. Not only is this an art show, but it is also a food drive. Outside artists were invited to participate alongside our members in exchange for a grocery donation. So come, enjoy the night with us, and bring an item of food to donate to help feed our local community.
Meet the artists, observe a live artist Demo, enter to win a piece of art by Ed Carlson, and enjoy some light refreshments. All free and open to the public.

Playing Horses II
Art Gallery of Viera is pleased to present Jaymee Weinreich as the featured artist for June. The opening reception of the Edibles Show at the Art Gallery of Viera will be June 13, 2015 from 5:30-8 pm, and will also feature the beautiful and spiritual art of member artist, Jaymee Weinreich.
Educated at Florida International University with a Bachelor's of Fine Art, Jaymee work's in a number of mediums including oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor and pencil. Her paintings often include people, rainforest and island environments and fantasy.

Throughout her work, Jaymee's intention is to express beauty in a spiritual sense. She says, "With all the problems in the world and in our daily living we have a tendency to forget how to enjoy each other, nature and the wonder of life in general. For example, I try to communicate the feeling you get when walking through a forest or swimming in an ocean or the feeling of being alone on a beach with just your thoughts. In this way, people do connect to my work."

Jaymee, being from a colorful island environment, color plays an important role in her pictures. Naturally her palette has evolved into a vibrant dialogue of color, as vibrant as the places she has lived and experienced.
