SOS Tuesday and Downline Diva Spotlight!

Hello, Stampers!

Last evening was our monthly SOS Stamp Club meeting where we created the Seagull card (one last time) and an explosive hearts and butterfly card!  While 3 of our members were out of town or ill, we welcomed friend Linda to the group and we all worked together to make kits for our absentee friends!  Thank you, one and all!

Hearts and Butterfly Embosslits and a framelit were used to make our cascade of valentine hearts.

We had a wonderful evening and look forward to the next meeting.  The first SOS member to email the word meeting to me will receive a nice stamping gift.

Downline Diva Spotlight

Today, we feature Donna Kremkau, a long-time friend and longer time stamper, in our spotlight.  Donna supports her own business and also very generously supports our SOS family.  We just couldn't do without her!!  Donna travels far and wide looking for stamps and inspiration and has even found a good number of our stampers while acting as undercover recruiter in one of "those" stores!  Thank you for everything, Donna!  You mean the world to us!
(Uh-oh, there's Precious photo-bombing our picture.  LOL)

Seagull Card and Twitterpated for Card Making!

These projects were so darn cute!  We had a blast making them with 18 AGOV stampers yesterday!  I love the nuances that make each card unique and I LOVE the gals that come to stamp with us!
Thanks to all for another wonderful Monday stamping gathering!!  It's off to the Titusville Art League for another fun card making class on Thursday!

The seagull card was first and nicely it went together despite lots of paper pieces and baker's twine lengths.  I loved everyone's sponging on the front and the inside with So Saffron, Soft Sky and Smoky Slate--perfect for our background!!

I am truly "Twitterpated" for our second card.  This is a CASE from my idol  Mary Fish is well-known for her clean lines and pops of color!  I love taking a page from her book!!  Check out Mary's site for some beautiful inspiration!  My design features Mambo Melon rather than Real Red and though it took all but 3" of my Lost Lagoon ribbon, I felt it was a very good use for it!

Coming up next week will be a Moon Lake stamped masculine birthday card and a really pretty card using the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper!  Can't wait!!

Card Making Magic and a Little Formal Wear!

Hi, Stampers!
Card Making Magic At the Art Gallery!

I can't wait to share Monday's card making ideas with you so I'm giving you a little hint today!  You've already gotten a sneak peak at our valentine project for Monday but here it is again.  I love that it's crisp and fresh with a Real Red and Whisper White color combo.

Well here's our inspiration for our second card.  I've done tux cards before but it's been awhile and I love Colleen's method of layering the white paper for the shirt pleats.  I usually use the Stripes embossing folder but I like this realistic effect.  Our card will have a birthday greeting on the front, a fabulous inside card and a bee-yoo-tee-ful and special envelope, complete with texturizing, stamping and a liner to boot!  We might as well make it over-the-top since we CAN!  :-)  You can find more of Colleen's ideas at
Tuxedo Card

More soon!!  I may be venturing into the video world for my blog.  Stampin' Up has lots of terrific videos and I'm such a ham that I think I'm ready for the small stage!  Haha!!!
