Fun Holiday Gel Cards and Ree's Faux Joseph's Coat Technique

Here's a light moment with our Monday AM Stampers, Donna
Jane and Mike.
Jane, Mike and Donna (SOS Stampers) won last
week's prizes for the "Hidden Message in the Blog" Contest!
Congratulations, Gals!

Our first card was versatile and by
using our Hanukkah stamps, we
we're able to create either a Christmas
or Hanukkah card!  We used the
"gel technique" to create a fun
snow globe effect for our featured
image.

Here's our lovely Faux Joseph's Coat
technique card.  We used regular
Whisper White cardstock stamped with
Cajun Craze and Garden Green images.
We then used clear embossing powder for
our pretty leaves and finished it by
sponging layers of Baked Brown Sugar
on the image for a really pretty background.
Our PM stampers, Gail, Nancy, Phyllis
and Joan B.
Great job, Gals!!

The TAL Gals had a fun time making their cards.  Sami's friend
from Cairo, Egypt called her during our class so we sent her a picture of our cardmakers and cards.  We hope she can join us in person
sometime!

Sharon, Sami and Patricia!  Well done,
gals!!
Next week at the Gallery we'll make a double Cascade card and
a beautiful large envelope to hold it!  We will save the Cascade card project for the first Thursday of September so that Patricia can join us!
Have a great week!
