Sydney's Creations!

Hi, Gals!

I wanted to share a friend's creations.  (I'm going to make a point of doing this more often!)  I have so many wonderful and creative stamping friends in both my classes and home workshops.

This week, I got to spend some time with my friend and road trip pal (We go to stamping events in Jacksonville.), Sydney, to finish up the 30 envelopes for her daughter's baby shower.  Sydney created an adorable owl-themed invitation that coordinates with the decor and color combination for the new baby's room.  I love all of her elements--especially those booties, tiny hearts and the bib on the owl.  Sydney also gave me the sweet pink and green floral thank you card.  She is the best--And she is still teaching full time too!  Here is some inspiration for all of us.
Definitely two sweet and very pretty cards!
Thank you, Sydney!!

What a creative Monday we had!  I took lots of pictures and decided to publish them all!!  Our morning class made the Print Poetry greeting card and a sweet baby card.  Our afternoon class made the the Print Poetry card and a paper-pierced butterfly or heart punch out card.  Very clean and simple but elegant.
Happy Stampin', Gals!!

A Little Wild!

Hi, Stampin' Gals!

One of our grandsons is turning 18 so I wanted to make a really special card for him.  (Actually, I make a really special card for him each year because he, the dear boy, keeps them!)

Troy is a surfer so there is usually a strong surfer/skater theme for his cards.  This year I went totally "rad" with his card and even the envelope by stamping with bleach on Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake cardstock and on the Crumb Cake envelope too, which created a totally different effect.  Just make a "stamp pad" with paper towels on a dinner plate and add enough bleach to soak the toweling but not pool.  Then, stamp away and watch the results as it dries.
Happy Stampin'!!

Fantastic Fun-Fold Card Class Date Added!!

Hello, Creative Chicas!
Our April 3 Fantastic Fun-Fold Card class filled up in 4 days so we are adding a second workshop date, Wednesday, April 17, from 10:30 am-1:30 pm.  Can't wait to share this fun project with you.  $12 per person and all supplies are provided.  Sign up at or by calling Ree at 321-961-2350.
Here are several cards from about a year ago.    There are 10+ surfaces you can embellish for a really special card or gift card holder.

Here are some really good views of Helen's Fun-Fold card from last year.  She took her time (2 class periods) and it is really stunning!  Last year's card was "free play" (probably not my brightest idea) but this year's card will start as a kit of coordinating papers and choices of stamps.  Students will sign up in advance for birthday, general, graduation, or congratulations card kits.
Sign up soon.  Classes are limited to 8 stampers.

Happy Stamping!!!

More Bunnies and Steady As She Goes!

Hi, Stampers!  Another fun week of stamping classes at The Gallery.  Both classes made our Chocolate Bunny card and a beautiful Open Sea greeting card.
Here are our chocolate bunnies with lots of Easter eggs.

Here are some of the gals from our afternoon class.  Pictured are Nancy, Jo, Joan and Helen.
This terrific card, made with our Open Sea stamps, makes a lovely get well, thank you or birthday card.  Great job, gals!!
Congratulations to last week's blog prize winners:

Helen, Mike, Mary and Dianne!

Cute Bunnies and an SAB Bicycle card.

Hi, Stampers!

What a fun class this past Monday.  Our bunny card turned out to not know if he was comin' or goin' in the afternoon class.  We going added google eyes since we had just planned on making bunny "bums" initially!

We then created a 180 degrees of difference card using Early Espresso ink and paper along with our Whisper White paper and envelope along with a beautiful vintage SAB (free!) set.  So simple, yet elegant and pretty gender neutral!  Love that natural ribbon.

We'll be creating another Easter card and a masculine card using the "Open Seas" stamp set this coming Monday!  I bet there's a prize for the first person to email Ree after viewing our blog.  Email Ree at
