Fun Fold Triangle Fold Cards At the Gallery

Okay!  I can learn!  I've always thought about having "free play" at a stamping workshop.  I visualized many similar projects with wonderfully individual creative touches.  However, my "free play" workshop (at the Gallery and at my Tuesday Evening Stamping Club) transformed into a "Hmmmm....how do I get started, conundrum"!  But my gals are good sports.  Some finished them up at home.  Some probably filed them "for future reference" and some came back to the Gallery to finish--Helen!  It was so fun for me to hear Helen's reaction to a new idea, color combination or design element.  (I have a sweet little stamping goody bag for the first person to leave a comment on this week's blog.)  Her card turned out fabulously as you can see below!  My thanks to everyone for your perseverance, patience and for not throwing your projects at me!  LOL!!

Helen and a few of the tools of the trade that she used to complete her Fun Fold card.

The outside of the card.

The inside

Completely opened!  A real surprise and WOW layout!

All tied up and ready to place in a pretty envelope.  Helen was able to use 3-dimensional embellishments since this will be placed in a padded envelope and mailed to a very long time friend that lives out of state.  Beautiful job, Helen!
Okay, so now I'm thinking clean, simple (Keep It Simple, Stamper!) for next week.  We'll make 3 cards  that are alike except for colors and greetings!  They'll be a nice addition to your trove of special cards for special people.  Peace, Ree
