Beautiful Cards from Dear Friends and Family Members--Fall, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Birthday!

Hello Stampers!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I wanted to share some beautiful and fun cards that I've received this fall!  They certainly have brightened my days and given me inspiration..I hope they will do the same for you!!  Enjoy!!

This lovely card was given to me by my morning AGOV stampers members.  They collaborated and added their favorite things:  pretty thinlits, lots of bling and a touch of humor because though you can't tell, you have to open the card from the left and inside are lots of cute and humorous stamps!  So much like our class!  I love it! Thank you, Dara, Janice, Kathy and Ranell!

Here is my pretty birthday card from Jane.  Her cards are always special and perfect to the "nth" degree.  I know I'm in for a treat when I open the envelope!  Thank you, Jane!!
Darn I should have photographed the insides of the cards.  They are so darn cute!!  The one below from Janice has a very cute stamp of a lady in her curlers and bathrobe and not needing a costume.  Beautiful work, Janice!  Thank you!!
My friend and longest downline, Linda, outdoes me sooooo much!  Not only does she make just perfectly beautiful cards but she actually  SENDS them!  Besides, she has a full time job that involves a lot of travel.  You're an inspiration, friend!!
Here's a pretty card from my wonderful stamping friend, Mike!  She, too, does perfection-quality stamping and you can tell that she loves stamping.  Mike, I admire you for your patience and skill and for being a rock to your family during challenging times.  We are with you!
Isn't this soooo pretty!  It reminds me of my childhood tea set. (I'll bet many of you had that very same set.  I made sure my daughters had one too.)  I always love Nancy's creations and she very thoughtfully wrote her message on a post-it inside so that I could re-cycle/re-send the card!  Thank you, Nancy!!

I love how my sister-in-law, Cindy, has gained so much confidence in her own artistry!  She makes lovely cards and I know I will see lots of great elements put together really well when I open the envelope!  Wonderful, Cindy!
Well, now it's time to go to the Stampin' Oasis and work on this week's projects and lots of Christmas projects.  Life is good!!

Be sure to email me if I can be of design help or product help to you!  Have a wonderful weekend!!

Hello, Stampers!

We've divided our class time between our Christmas cards and all-occasion cards.  We've also spent some time with our new Stampin' Blends pens.  (I love how the ink just flows out onto your cardstock!)  We also experimented with the new Embossing Paste with wonderful results.  So easy to use and such pretty effects from any of the beautiful masks that are available.

But first, we made this pretty, stamped off Bethlehem city card with one stamp pad, Crumb Cake, 2 tiny framelits and a little satin stripe ribbon.  Quick and easy for sure!

Here is our sweet card with the Embossing Paste accent and just a tiny bit of the Whole Lot of Lovely.  Love our little flower.  We teased our two flowers into 4 layers by using a bone folder, a sharp fingernail and a little patience.  Oops!  I would photograph the one with a crooked sentiment!  Shows we're all human, right? :) An easy fix for sure!
I have to admit to being wild about the Seasonal Chums stamps, especially this cute little reindeer.  The other stamp set is Watercolor Christmas.  We experimented with our Stampin' Blends on this one.  You can't see it but we used Shimmer White paper.  It has a distinct razzle dazzle to it that coordinates with the Wink of Stella we used on our reindeer and trees.
We Florida gals never pass up an opportunity to use a flamingo stamp.  Love the Pop of Color Designer Series Paper too!  Melon Mambo and just a touch of Silver Glimmer Paper and the Pretty Label Punch.

Happy Stampin'!!

OnStage and Paper Pumpkin Ideas

Hello, Stampers!

Wow! What a great time friend Linda and I had in Salt Lake City! Great workshops, product spotlights, presentations and meeting demonstrators from all over the US and Australia too!!

I returned home with lots of goals,  a big order for new Occasiins and Sale-a-bration supplies and maybe a little travel weary. I also enjoyed the anticipation of 4 workshops between Monday and Wednesday!  All accomplished and great fun. My stampers energize me!

Here is some fun with the October and November Paper Pumpkin Kits!

This was the most fun!!

Then! And there are enough for all 5 grands and then some!!

My friend, Linda, in South Caroline makes THEE most beautiful cards.  Here is a lovely birthday card that she gave to me!  She pays attention to so many beautiful details!!
I met Marie on the bus going to the leadership dinner at onstage!  When she found that I had not brought any swaps, she gave me this adorable card saying, "Now you have a swap!"  Again, beautiful details!!!  How sweet of her!

I hope to see you soon! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and find some happy crafting time between the pies and stuffing!!

Enjoying Fall DSP, Cute and Punchy Santa Card and Best Birds Fall Greeting Card

Hi, Stampers!
Time for a smorgasboard of class projects!  We've made the punch out santa card below before but I thought it was time to make it again!  My sister-in-law, Cindy Davis, first introducted me to this cute Santa!

We spritzed an acrylic block with a Crumb Cake Stamp Pad to get this pretty background effect.  I know you'll recognize the Love as a Tree pine and a retired sentiment.

Thank you, Wendy Cranford, for a great take on the Magical Mermaid stamp set!  I totally love it!  We embossed the magical mermaid tails in silver and used the Ruffled embossing folder to create our waves.

Sweet and Simple!  Just add Designer Series Paper and some contrasting layers to create a wonderful fall-themed card!
Truly the Best Birds!  This sweet stamp set is ideal for just about any sentiment.  We paired Perfect Plum with Old Olive here.  Just a little sponging with So Saffron and voila!!

Have a wonderful and creative day!!

Homemade Alcohol Ink Designs and Christmas Quilt Bundle Card

Hi, Stampers!

We had such fun in this week's classes making our own alcohol ink designs.  Hats off to both Art Gallery of Viera classes, my SOS stamp club and the Titusville Public Library stampers!  You were up to the challenge and we had a wonderful time together.  Just what we needed after Irma!!!!

You just need isopropyl alcohol and reinkiers in your choice of 2 or 3 colors, large cotton balls and glossy white cardstock.  We used Pacific Point, Emerald Envy and Silver.  I would suggest plastic gloves too.

Just put alcohol on a large cotton ball, add 1 drop of each color and then just pounce, swoosh or swirl onto glossy white paper.  So quick, easy and fun and everyone's design is different!!  We used the leaf punch on the inside of the card and cut out little squares of our practice paper and those look great too!  We used a Christmas Quilt Bundle framelit for our window.  Perfect!!

Here is this week's Christmas card.  You might recognize the front from the Holiday Occasions catalog!  We used the Christmas Quilt embossing folder on the Real Red card front.  Love those felt embellishments!!!

Join my team and you'll receive this special gift made by me for you and an extra $40 gift certificate from me. So that's a total of $165 in merchandise for $99.  Just go to  and click on "Join the Fun!"
Let the fun begin!!!

Have a fun and happy stampin' week!!

Art Gallery Cards-Three Wisemen, Dragonfly and a fun Halloween Treat/Gift Card Holder

Hi, Stampers!

We're boarding up, packing up and getting ready to evacuate the island in anticipation of Irma.  I thought I'd make a quick post and let you know what has been going on in the Art Gallery Cards world this week.

We made this simple, but elegant 3 Wisemen card using Wisemen from afar, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstocks and gold embossing powder.  We Floridians especially love the beautiful palm tree stamps.  This is actually a very quick and simple card.

Next we made this oh so pretty card using stamping off and sponging to give it a misty quality.  I'll bet you recognize the Awesomely Artistic and the Butterfly Basics stamp sets, along with Bermuda Bay and Marina Mist stamp pads.  A tip of the hat to Dawn Olchefske who never disappoints when I'm looking for inspiration!  Check out her Stampin' Up blog!

Here is another project. It was inspired by Oksana Semenska's cute little expresso cup and holder that you saw in last week's blog post.  The Spooky Night Designer Series Papers are so fun!  You can punch out the cats and fussy cut the pumpkins and witches' hats. Planning to make some of these with granddaughter, Riley, while we're waiting out the storm at Kevin and Darla's house. Secret work is Yellow Lab Yes, we'll take our 2 Shelties and they have a Yellow Lab, Terrier/Lab mix and 2 yorkies.  Should be lively!!
One thing that I'll be packing up is the latest Paper Pumpkin!  Easy Peasy and I won't suffer from stamping withdrawal!  LOL!!!

Wishing everyone in Houston and neighboring areas a quick recovery and wishing the residents of Florida the best possible outcome.

Stampin' Hugs and Smiles!

Hello, Stampers!

I want to share this week's projects AND the bee-yoo-tee-ful projects we made with Oksana Semenska of
a couple of weekends ago.
In addition to our terrific projects AND a beautiful favor that Oksana made for all of us, I received this beautiful thank you card that Oksana used real coffee to paint .  Brilliant!!!  I love Oksana's creations and encourage you to enjoy her blog as well!

Here are the cards we made at Oksana's workshop. I just love the colors and beautiful little touches!

Here is the beautiful favor that Oksana made for all of us, complete with delicious chocolates, of course.  I must CASE this for sure!!

Here is her sweet thank you note that painted using actual coffee.  Yes, she is definitely brilliant and creative!!

Here are our class cards for this week.  The Art Gallery Stampers, Titusville Stampers and the SOS Stamp club all did a great job with these cards.  Such fun I've had!!

Love our Halloween kitties!  We had fun with the leftover tails and cat faces peeking in on the inside of the card.  And here is the secret code word "kitties". The first to email it to me will receive a vintage stamp set. I imagine you're all on to me now. :-) Ugh!! I should have added some additional lighting for this photography session!!
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the new catalog.  Please feel free to email me if you have no demonstrator and I will be happy to send you a Holiday Catalog free of charge!!

Happy stamping, everyone!
