Spring Re-Organization of My Stamping Studio

Hi, Stampers!

I spend lots of time, as I'm sure many of you do, organizing and re-organizing my space.  I took a look at my arrangement and decided to really move some things that were just creating a "cluttery" look!

My space is nice and big but.....I have very little wall space.  The good news is that I have lots of natural light and I have multiple work areas.  In fact, I created a new space for my stamping.  I was looking into purchasing a new desk to complement my "stand up" stamping/work area.  I then realized that I could use the sweet little wicker desk and chair (that I've had forever) that were doing nothing but holding a hideous XM radio and a phone.  The radio went to Nate's workbench, the phone went to a small table and I now have a pretty view of my orchids, succulents, geraniums and the birdfeed that is visited regularly by Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal.  Perfect.

Here are some pictures of my room!
My Stamp 'n Storage ribbon storage.  The drawers hold my Bigz Dies.

My card carousels
My cutting station with "Big Carl" , my Big Shot and off to the side is my TV so that I can watch HGTV.

I love my new little stamping space with a view.
More pictures are coming!!

Guess What Arrived in the Mail Today!!! Cardmaking with Paper Pumpkin!

Hi, Stampers,

Wow!  What a Monday!  2 great classes with some of my favorite people and then........My own Prince Charming (Nate) delivered this Month's Paper Pumpkin (from the mailbox)!!  Yayyyyy!

Tooooooo many of my kits are still waiting for me to have the evening energy to play with them but tonight I completed all 8 of these adorable folding cards and darling envelopes.  Everything was in my red box except for my scissors, bone folder and snail adhesive.  (I did opt for my full size Pacific Point Stamp Pad though I love my little Crushed Curry and Pacific Point Stampin' Spots that came with the twine, cardstocks and photopolymer stamps.)

So here are my results!  A perfect evening of fun for me!!  Let me know if you'd like your own Paper Pumpkin to arrive each month!
The sweet paper bows required no punching.  They were perforated and just required assembly with the accompanying glue dots.

I can't wait to use these!

Happy Stampin'!!

Just Kidding Cardmaking Fun and a Pretty Floral Card

Hi, Stampers!

Lots of fun this week making our Just Kidding cards.  Those Blendabilities Flesh Tone markers still come in very handy!  Add a little Stamp 'n Write Markers and Blender Pens and voila!  Total fun!  Aren't they adorable??  I added a computer generated "Just Sayin'" since we used Erma Bombeck quotes and Aunty Acid Mugshots on the inside.  They are hilarious!!

Email me if you'd like a complete list of supplies!
We also made these gorgeous cards using Mother's Love!  I never met a 2-step stamp that I didn't love!  The Wisteria Wonder and Always Artichoke are perfect for our floral cards.
Good job, Art Gallery Stampers!!!

Congratulations to our latest prize winners for finding the secret words in the blog:

Cardmaking at the Stamp Out Autism Workshop! Second Harvest Food Collection!

Such a lovely day we had today at the workshop in Melbourne Village, hosted by Carol Valentine and Rachel Miller.  A big thanks goes out to these gals for their 6 beautiful over and above projects, generous supplies and meticulous organization!

For me, it was such a pleasure to just go, sit, visit and stamp! Yayyyyy!  It was also a wonderful privilege and pleasure to donate non-perishable food products to the Second Harvest Food Bank and to purchase raffle tickets for the many wonderful business donations!   This all speaks to the hard work of these two wonderful demonstrators!!  (Did I mention the food and doorprizes??)  Wow!  Inspiration personified!!

Here are the six beautiful cards we enjoyed creating.  I'll be case'ing some of them for future stamp classes for sure!!

Thank you for stopping by!  Be a love and leave a comment!!

Stamp Class Cardmaking Scrapbook!

Hello, Stampers!

Thank you for stopping by!!  So much stamping fun these past two weeks!!  Where to begin?  Let's start with the Titusville Art League Build a Bouquet (137952)  class!  We set reasonable goals--make 3 or 4 of the flowers in the class and finish up at home.  We had a great time with this terrific kit and the flowers are sooooooo pretty.  Susan's were sticking out of her purse when we went to lunch and they were fabulous!!  Good job, Susan, Patricia and Andrea!! (And the blackberry cobbler was fabulous too!!!)

I made these cute mini gift bags (137547) to hold a yummy lacey cookie for my stamp club members.  Our SOS stamp club always comes through for each other!  Our monthly hostesses usually earn betwee $60 and $125 in free merchandise!  Thank you, SOS gals!
One of our members, Trudy, gave me a stack of ancient Rubber Stamping magazines and I used pages from those stamp magazines to make the cutest mini gift bags!  Fun to make and fun to give!!!

This past Monday's Art Gallery Cards classes made the cards you see below!  We are all having so much fun with the Just Kidding gals (140667) and their sassy sentiments!!
I can't wait to give these fun cards!!

Many thanks to Becky Roberts (One of my inspiring stamping goddesses) for the inspiration for our Sheltering Tree (137163) card.  A gift for you if you're first to email me Sheltering Tree.  You can see more of Becky's beautiful work at http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com/  We stamped off a second time to "fill out" our foliage!  The set comes with beautiful messages that have graceful fonts and lots of cute little accessory stamps too!

Happy stampin' and thank you again for stopping by!!
