Bear Hugs, Balloon Celebrations Card Making Fun!

Hello, Stampers!

I hope you are having a great week and finding some creative time too!!

Here are this week's cards, the first 2 being CASE'd from my OnStage swaps!  What a treasure trove!  I'm so happy that I decided at the last minute to participate in casual swaps!  If you love the Bear Hugs bundle like I do, be sure to order it prior to May 31 for the best deal!!  This makes an ideal Father's Day or birthday card!!

The Balloon Celebration punch and stamp set is carried over but, again, you'll get the best price before June 1!!  I love this fold--Easy Peasy--just pinch the paper in the middle and cut in 1 3/4"!!

This is not a card to look forward to giving but it is great to have one on hand when the need arises.  The color palette for the Love and Sympathy card is Night of Navy and Old Olive.

This week we'll be making a Father's Day Shirt and Tie card and a pretty floral card.
Have a wonderful week!!

Card Making Fun--Starfish and Hummingbird Cards Are Picture Perfect!

Hello, Stampin' Friends!

You must be astounded!  3 posts in 2 days and the weekly newsletter to come!!

Well, there has just been so much happening and so many occasions to stamp and report about!

Here's a quick post with our cards from this past Monday's Art Gallery of Viera Stampers.  Many thanks to Amy K. and my buddy Linda who received a copy of the starfish card at OnStage!  I was so excited to bring it to my students.  Lots of 2 step stamping with the Picture Perfect stamp set.

The second card is our hummingbird card and we used the 3 layers for such a beautiful effect!  We certainly put lots of stamp pads to use:  Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate, So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Old Olive!

I hope you enjoy the cards and find inspiration for your stamping!!

Tasha's Lovely Stamping and Paper Crafting! A Bonus Post!!

Hello, My Stamping Friends!

A fun day got even better today!  I had the pleasure of attending a retirement party for one of my beloved former administrators, Linda P.  Nate and I have known Linda since waaaaay back and even attended her wedding, as she and Nate taught together at Palm Bay High School in the '90's!  Her staff truly loves her and honored her with so many entertaining videos, tributes, a special song and lots of delicious food, of course.

When I looked over the beautiful table decorations, I knew that one of my own kind was close by.  I am so happy to show you Tasha Akil's beautiful contributions to the celebration.  Tasha is the math coach at Riviera Elementary so both sides of her brain are obviously working!  Each table was graced with one or more of these incredible creations!  Having made purses and explosion boxes, I can hardly imagine the time it took to make ALL of these!

I enjoyed meeting you, Tasha!  Thank you for the inspiration and the joy of seeing your beautiful work!
Adorable boxes with Linda's name popping out!  Very cute.  Yes, there was a significance to the "Tiffany Blue" and the weather forecasting themes!

Don't we all love something from Tiffany?  These adorable purses really took the cake!

Cute, cute, cute!!
Thank you again for letting me share your beautiful creations, Tasha!!

Card-Making Challenge And More Fun To Come!

Hello, My Stamping Friends!

I hope your week is going well and that you are enjoying some creative time!

Have you seen our Color Challenge on Facebook?  If not, no worries, since I've posted the cards below and we'll have another challenge announced at the end of May for the first week of June!

You can leave comments on your favorite cards at Rags To Riches-Ree's Art Gallery Stampin' Downline Page on the following Facebook page:

Please give our card making gals a boost by leaving comments and your "Likes"!  Thank you!!

Anyone can join our Color Challenge!  When the Color and Template are published at the end of May, you can send a jpg. pic of your card to me at to join the fun!!

Here is the original!  Stampers used Pirouette Pink, Basic Black and Whisper White for the color palette.  The layout was just a jumping off point for their creativity!  I LOVE their cards!!

Here's one of my Downline, Linda's card!  Love her background embossing and the sweet feminine pink/black combination!!  Really nice, Linda!

Love Mike's, flowers and colored pearls.  Blendabilities, though retired, are still wonderful for coloring pearls, aren't they!  I had to stop to think to recognize the Botanical Blooms!

Jane found a fabulous way to use her Washi Tape collection and both cards are fabulous. I think I'm seeing some Paper Pumpkin stamps and I especially love the Triple Corner Punch!!

Nancy used paper layers for her flowers and don't you love the Fancy Fan embossed background!  Such a pretty card and I think I'd like to borrow her background fabric!  Love it!!

Have a wonderful and happy week!  Watch for some extra posts soon!!

Hello, Stampers!

I hope your week is going well and that you are finding some time for your creative pursuits!!

Below you will find this week's card!  Such fun we had on Monday!  Our Rose Garden Thinlit card (Thank you, Trudy Pope, for the initial idea.  Trudy credits Dena Rekow for her idea, an elegant white card with Everyday Chic DSP below the rose cutout.) This is why I love CASE'ing ideas and that most stampers are all about sharing ideas.  The card usually evolves into something quite different, as did my Daffodil Delight and Whisper White card!
Keep scrolling to find Class Schedules and RSVP times!

I wish I could credit the beautiful Timeless Texture card.  My inspiration came from a swap that did not include the wonderful artist's name.  I'll love sharing it with you!!

Shoppers, take note!!  The Clearance Rack has shrunk, shrunk, shrunk and many retiring items are not available! So, get those items while you can at my online store HERE for Clearance and

Card Making Projects, Retiring List and Schedule!

Hi, Fabulous Stampers!

It has been a wonderful week of stamping friends, both near and far.  I am fortunate to have my "Long Distance Stampers" from South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, New York, Maine and now Texas!  (Thank you, Debby and Susan!) and I am so fortunate have all of my local stampers from the Art Gallery, Titusville Art League, Cocoa Beach Library and of course the SOS Stamp Club!

I determined some time ago that stampers are just really special, caring and sweet gals!  I love that I have met you and that you are a wonderful part of my life!
Thank You!!!

I wanted to share this week's projects with you!  We made the Birthday Blooms card (with thanks to Oksana Semenska for the design!) and the reflection card (Lovely as a Tree) for our 2 Art Gallery of Viera classes and my SOS stamp club team.

We added the gift card/treat holder for today's Cocoa Beach Library card.  Ladies, you are awesome to finish all 3 projects in less than 2 hours!  Whew!!

I believe that ALL of my stampers have now made this easy-peasey treat/gift card holder!!

Shhhhhh!!  I'm going to case one of next Monday's cards from Trudy's "show and tell" last evening!  It's a fabulous card featuring the Rose Garden Framelit!!  Can't wait!! (Trudy tells me that she got her ideas for the card from Dena Rekov!  Well done, Dena!)

Many thanks to Donna K.  for demonstrating how super easy it is to make coasters with 4x4 tiles, DSP and Modge Podge for our SOS stamp club!  Definitely on my list of things to do!
